Cheap Minnesota Wild Tickets

The Minnesota Wild preseason starts at the end of September and now couldn’t be a better time to buy Minnesota Wild tickets.

The Minnesota Wild added several new players in the off-season, making this Wild team a new and different animal as it hits the ice this fall. Minnesota Wild fans had grown accustomed to a slow and uneventful off-season. General Manager Chuck Fletcher woke up Wild fans with surprising and daring moves. Fletcher has radically altered the Wild’s roster and coaching staff, unleashing a fresh beast at the Xcel Energy Center.

Fletcher named Mike Yeo Head Coach, keeping the coaching staff to family names. Rather than an experienced NHL coach, Fletcher brought in Yeo from the Houston Aeros, the Wild’s IHL affiliate. Yeo will be heading the Wild team this season with a youthful coaching style, benefiting the new youngsters the Wild will bring to the ice.

The Wild traded Brent Burns to San Jose for Devin Setoguchi, prospect Charlie Coyle and Zack Phillips - a move that has earned the praise of sports analysts. Devin Setoguchi is a young player that should fit in nicely with Mike Yeo’s coaching style. Additionally, Setoguchi will bring reliability to goal-scoring.

Signed were Darroll Powe (restricted free agent) and Mike Lundin out of this year’s weak free agent class. Fletcher wisely refused to overpay for second-tier players and made only a couple free agent signings. I am sure that Minnesota Wild fans are excited to see what the two youngsters can bring to the ice.

Finally, the Minnesota Wild traded Martin Havlat to San Jose for Dany Heatley. Heatley has ranked first in game-winning goals since 2001 among other achievements. The joining of Heatley to the Minnesota Wild roster was a great move by Fletcher – fans can’t wait to see the player that put up 64 points last year while having a broken hand and injured ankle for a large portion of the season. If there is one thing we appreciate, it’s a tough guy that’s willing to stick it out for the team. Heatley looks like he will fit right in.

With new faces and coaching strategies in Minnesota, you would think ticket prices would be through the roof. Not so. Preseason Wild tickets, where you get a chance to preview the upcoming season, are starting for as little as $5! Take advantage of these Cheap Minnesota Wild tickets; use this opportunity to take the family out for a night at the Xcel Energy Center and scout out the upcoming season for the Minnesota Wild.

Cheap Minnesota Twins Tickets

I know there are a large amount of Twins fans that have wanted to catch a game at Target Field, since its inception, but have never felt like they could afford Twins ticket. Here in Minnesota, we pride ourselves in avoiding the stigma of ‘fair weather fan’ so, even though the Twins are struggling this year, fans are showing up in the masses to Target Field. How are they doing it?

At the end of the second season at the Minnesota Twins’ new home, the thrill of the new ballpark is still there, but has diminished slightly for season ticket holders. Additionally, with the Twins out of contention and embracing their role as a divisional spoiler, the games don’t mean as much in terms of this season, but are still a good time for fans of the Twins. What does that mean for fans that only get to go to a couple games a summer? Getting a Twins ticket and a cheap Minnesota Twins ticket at that couldn’t be easier. You can get a decent ticket for around $10, leaving you plenty of budget for a Blue Moon or two. Last year you couldn’t get a ticket to a Twins game. Today, you can get in without having to break the bank – take advantage!

The Twins being out of contention is undoubtedly a bummer, especially with the high hopes the Twins left fans with last year. However, baseball purists will embrace the chance to watch next year’s team this year. Keep in mind that many of the players we have now, including the M&M boys will be around for at least another year (in Mauer’s case, many years) and this is a great opportunity to preview what the Twins will bring to the field in the 2012 season.

If the recession has made money tight, or you’ve never prioritized a Twins game over other entertainment, a Twins game in September is the perfect way to live like a high roller on a budget.
